Title: Community Support Helpers
Post by: Nathaniel on May 08, 2009, 03:42:07 AM
The SimplePortal team is happy to announce the creation of a new publicly joinable membergroup called "Community Support Helper". This membergroup is based on the same principle as the "Support Helpers" membergroup at SimpleMachines.org.

If you choose to join this group then you will have access to a list of all outstanding Support topics, as well as a small linksbar to more easily separate the different support areas.

You can join this membergroup by going to your profile, clicking "Group Membership" and then "Join Group" for the relevant group. Please note that the list is based off your ignored boards list, if you don't want to see support topics from the language boards then you will have to ignore them in your profile.

We have created this membergroup with the intention of encouraging our community to more actively help each other. Thank you to those that have already been offering support where they can.

We are also always looking for more team members, especially Support Specialists. If we notice that you have been consistently and constructively contributing to our project by writing mods and blocks (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=1215.0), giving support to fellow community members, spreading the word, etc, then we may offer you an apprenticeship.

Please note that members of the "Community Support Helper" membergroup are not team members.

Thank you to everyone that helps with community support on these forums,
The SimplePortal team.

fishyies

Help is very much appreciated around here.

I would suggest you add a little something to your signature to let folks know you are willing to help where you can.
