Topic: Editing SimplePortal(easy help)

I apolegise if this is in the wrong section but I could really figure out where it should go... Basically ive installed the SimplePortal mod and i need to know how i can change the text at the top that says "Be sure to read the RULES or you may be sorry..."

ive posted this is loads of places and no one seems to asnwer me:/
could anyone help please? would be much apreciaite

It looks to me like the News block is active.

To disable the block.

Admin >> Simple Portal >> Blocks >> Block List

Look for the News Block.

Can i modify it the same way? like make it say something else, it doesnt seem to be in the settings for it

BTW I'm UK too.

The modify button is on the right of the disable button.

Follow the directions I gave ya and you will find it.

And yeah, I quested that ive rushed it abit, the part im struggleing with most is organizeing the categorys correctly and that, so its all easy to navagate, and so people know where to post for each subject :/ its hard than i thought...

and i did follow your instructions, but theres no option to change what it says, only the name of it? :/ i would show you an image but it wont allow mt to post one

OK if you go into the block list again as before.

On the right hand side you should see the word Action

There should be 4 images below this.

a green ( or red) button. active if green.

A spanner = Modify

4 arrows = Move

and finally the delete button.

I completely understand where im supposed to be, and im on the modify section, but there is not option for changeing what it says :/, only the title of it :/

Ok now im imbarresed ! for some reason its got its own title " News" .. before it was just the news anouncement on its own, i dont suppose you know how to change that back? :/
