Topic: Post install SP not available

I have done a new install of SMF 2.0.2 and installed SP. After trying various permissions get the successful install message after creating the 'temp' folder and using folder CHMOD 777 and file CHMOD 666.

However after this message, the menu does not change, nor does the SP copy right appear in footer, although the package manager claims SP is installed.

Have uninstalled, tried 755/775 and 644 CHMOD settings, however get the write failure error on these.
Require assistance to resolve please.

Ok still bashing my head on this. Have removed and recopied all folders and files onto server through CuteFTP. Gone over each folder, setting to CHMOD 777 anything else gives error in installer that folder is not writable. 'temp' folder is added to 'Packages' with CHMOD 777, and all other files in SMF are CHMOD 666.

Installation completes and results in a white blank page. When I try to view source in page, nothing appears. Site is: www.realmsofhope.com

Prior to installing SP 2.3.5 I have SMF 2.0.2 working no problem.

  Your site seems to be working fine with Simple Portal installed when I check the link.
