Portal not showing for logged in users
« on: June 22, 2014, 01:26:47 PM »
SMF 2.0.7, SP 2.3.5

Hello,

I was amending a couple of blocks today, and haveing added a custom css class to remove the title to one of them, the portal stopped displaying for me.

It works fine for guests and one basic membergroup, but isn't visible at all to all other groups, including admin.

I've checked individual block permissions - they are all intact.  Made no changes whatsoever to the global permissions of any membergroup in the last month.

Looking at logs the only potentially relevant errors seems to be:

8: Undefined index: move_title
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: /home/fm/public_html/Themes/default/PortalAdminBlocks.template.php (block_list sub template - eval?)
Line: 14 - on 2 different occasion.    Not sure after which instance of the error the portal stopped working.

www.frostmourne.co.uk is the site in question.

Works fine without logging in.

Would appreciate any help.

I guess there is problem with block that is visible only for logged users.

Go to Administration Center » Server Settings » General, check Disable evaluation of templates and it should show where do you have problem.

Where have you used "move_title"?

Begin by turning off the block that you changed right before the problem popped up.
If that fixes the problem, then you have narrowed things down.

Otherwise, turn off blocks one at a time until the problem goes away.
I am guessing that the problem is with a custom php block contents, unless you are using an eval'd custom display option on one of your blocks.

Sometimes turning off template eval makes errors show up right in the middle of your page, so you can figure out what is causing them.  If this did not happen, then don't worry about it for now.
