Hey

I just installed simple portal now! but have one problem

when i login ,site redirect me directly to forum not to home!

same problem with logout.. when i hit logout he directly send to forum!!

any way to always start with portal and logout show me portal again??

Is the portal working or are you just wanting it to stay on the portal when log in and if you logout, then it redirects back to the portal ?

if the portal isnt working, then try below:

1) Did you get any errors when you installed it ?
2) Does the Simple Portal show up in Admin Panel ?
3)Administration Center |( Simple Portal ) Configuration |General Settings -  Is it set for "Front Page" ?

Setting to front page mode just makes makes the site load from 'home', the portal front page. I dont think it affects login.

Simple Portal redirects login to the board index/ forum page by default.

Try this in configuration settings for Simple Portal...

Disable Portal Redirection (make sure it is UNchecked)

If this box is unchecked, users will be redirected to the portal after they login or logout. If this box is checked, then users will be redirected to the BoardIndex.

but there is no box found to uncheck

Mine is set to redirect to forum. If not sure then try on/off and see what happens.
