I see you are using some kind of URL changer.
That mod may be the issue.

Try uninstalling it, and see if it fixes the portal.

Personally, I don't believe in using URL changers, as they mess up more than they help, and they really do nothing for SEO.

I'm not seeing the boards on the main page now, only when click the Forum link.
Main page shows blocks only.

However, I still see some kind of URL changer present, as default smf does not do links like:
http://www.macroforum.org/forum/
or
http://www.macroforum.org/search/

Agree with BurkeKnight (what about posting your mods list?)... I'd add to check your members - 2500 members and 4 posts makes me think that 99% of them are not really legit, lol.
Big up since I am Italian like you :)
Have you tried SimplePortal Documentation before asking? ;)

Ciao :)
Ho importato solo gli utenti dal mio precedente forum basato su Xenforo, che ho dovuto utilizzare per metterle su un altro :) Quindi Macroforum l'ho messo su SMF, il primo amore :)

I solved the problem: during Simple Portal installation was missing little code portion in /index.php file! Now it works and i reinstalled Pretty URL MOD :)
Thanks!
