Topic: Accept coockies popup possible?

Google demands "accept coockies" popup (Question show on top of page until accepted/declined) before 15 cept -15, if not it will affect the rank in google search engine. Is there a module or any other way i can add this feature?
I have tried to install simple machines "EU Cookie" but it doesnt work for me.

Hi, I hope you don't mind if I moved this to Custom Coding, and even here it's off-topic anyway because EU cookie policies have nothing to deal with SimplePortal, really... However, you can easily add the feature you want with this: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3693

That said, you should *really* keep your site(s) up-to-date as much as possible, because SMF updates usually include lots of bug fixes and/or security patches. For example you are still running SimplePortal 2.3.3, which unfortunately contains a number of bugs that have been addressed and fixed in the last version

That was the mod i tried out, it didnt work.
Could you point me to a guide for upgrading the portal - i am not shure how to do, thats why...
SMF is updated.

Put your forum into maintenance mode, uninstall SimplePortal without checking "Delete all data associated with this mod", download the last version - install it normally This works with all mods (in theory), but remember you will lose any custom template or source edits if you have done any (no, you won't lose any actual block data or pages etc).

"It didn't work" referred to the mod is not really an explanation However, you could try an unofficial one (live demo on my own site) - I am asking their authors if I can redistribute it, I am pretty sure I can, but better safe than sorry. Will update my post or repost again
