  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Hello people, i'm trying install SimplePortal but when the installation finish and the smf say that all be ok, i can't found them in the admin panel of smf  :'( and when i press in the link "redirect me"(In the final screen of the installation) they just jump me to admin panel  :(

No, they aren't

1- So, now i checked that the directory /packages/temp is are 777 chmod
second
2- I uninstall and install them hunderd times and nothing happen

Split from the other topic, please keep your support requests separate from others.

Uninstall SimplePortal, ignore any errors that are presented to you.

Then chmod your Sources and Themes directories to 0777, and attempt to install SimplePortal again.

Sources an Theme they are already whit the 777 chmod and nothing happens.  :( Anyway thanx's

So, you can upload the package to your Packages folder okay via the Package manager right? The problem is that it doesn't install correct?

Make sure that the relevant files - SSI.php and index.php - from your forum's main directory are set to 0777 as well.

No, that just don't work Nathaniel, all my entire server are whit 777  :( and don't work, anyway i will try to install them manually whit the parse info here:

Try CHOD 755, some servers dont allow 777, can cause errors.


That parse link is no good, as there is no information sent, post a link to the mod and then click parse lol.
