Topic: Custom Links

I've finally had enough of reading everything and still managing to get nowhere with this, so here is my question(s)

1) How do you create a custom link.

Yes, i have read this post => http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=148.0 <= no, it didn't pertain to my query, as i use version 2.3.2 of sp, and smf rc3.

2) If one adds a custom link, how would one make said link only visible / available to the admin / moderators?

p.s. These captcha images are HORRIBLE, it takes me several tries to get them right, and the " listen to letters " feature just shows a page with a random link, and a " play again" link.. that odly enough.. doesn't play... just an FYI forum admins

has permissions settings and has drop down menus

6 Custom buttons / tabs and menu's

Then set the permissions for each group from the permissions tab available in the admin settings.
