Title: Forum News in a header block

I use a header block for forum news/announcements. I like this because it gets more attention. What I can't figure out though is away to turn off the SMF news so it doesn't show in two places. any suggestions?

Well, that could be dependant on what theme you are using, but you could try to go to:

Admin > Configuration > Current Theme

Then Uncheck Enable random news line in the forum header
