Thought I had a problem with smf today
found out it was your new portal mod
that causes an internet explorer error in IE7

Custom Portal mod is something I coded and distributing, not a mod from SimplePortal Team. You can continue looking for support in the mod topic I created here.

I had this problem too and another user identified the problem. it's the resizing of the Avatar on the Portal page using Javascript that causes it on IE only.

go to ADMIN > ATTACHMENTS AND AVATARS > AVATAR SETTINGS and change:

"If the avatar is too large..." From "Resize it with JavaScript" to "Let the HTML Resize it" and then click the SAVE button.

It worked for me.
