Title: Welcome Topic Mod post on SP Homepage Though User Did Not Activate
Post by: Ahmad Rasyid Ismail on December 11, 2009, 09:02:07 PM
I got only one problem. I use email activation for my forum and Welcome Topic Mod. But I end up the mod issuing the welcome post on SimplePortal homepage (though it is not appearing on my forum at all) before a user activates his registration via email. This should not occur. What should I do? Help please.

What exactly do you mean by 'issuing the welcome post'?

Welcome Topic Mod posts new Welcome Topic when a new member register which will appear on SP Homepage.

I had set registration my forum to use activation before a new member account is fully activated. The Welcome Topic Mod however had posted a new Welcome Topic to the SP Homepage before the newly registered member activates his account. This new Welcome Topic is not posted on my forum board as my forum will only post this Welcome Topic after activation.

Why SP posts Welcome Topic eventhough the Welcome Topic has not been posted in the forum and will only be post after activation? It seems to call this in advance.
