can simpleportal be installed on phpbb ?? or can it only on SMF ??

SimplePortal is a portal adaption system built exclusively for Simple Machines Forum.

I do not believe there will be any future ports for other software, as SimplePortal uses quite a lot of SMF-specific functions and SMF-specific template writing that you'd have to rewrite the core from the inside out.
