Title: 500 server error

I am having a problem with a 500 internal server error. I can install SP and yes, I am using the most current version. But when I go to create a block or a SB I get this error on my home page. Any ideas?

The 500 server error can often be caused by incorrect file permissions.
Please see the SMF manual on setting file permissions in SMF 1.1.11
