Title: Boards Block
Post by: MrSir88 on December 08, 2009, 09:24:14 AM: I know this has been done, but I don't really know how to go about finding it. I wouldn't know what it was called either.

I want to have my boards listed (as if the simpleportal was disabled / not installed) but I want the blocks on the sides as well.

Will someone point me in the right direction for that link to download that or whatever I would have to do?

I am running SMF version 1.1.11 and SP verion 2.3.1 if that info. is needed

Post by: 130860 on December 08, 2009, 11:07:29 AM: if i understand corectly, you want to have your board index and the blocks on the side, for that, you gotta use Integration mode, check the little help icons on admin / simpleportal / configuration / general settings / Portal Mode

this mode will only show your blocks on the board list, with no portal as if simpleportal was not installed.

I want the blocks to show, but I want the board names to show as well. Does that make sense?

It has "Home" where the bars are on both sides and then you have "forum" where it list all the boards and only has one side of blocks.

I assume this is coding enabling the ability to do this. Can someone post the code and where to put it if possible? I am really new at this so bare with me.

It shouldn't.

Check each of your blocks, make sure that they have the correct 'Display Options', you want them to display on 'The Forum'. If you just want them to show on the main forum boardindex, then click the 'Advanced Display Options' checkbox and set them to display on the 'BoardIndex'.
