Title: Portal per board
Post by: erlend_sh on June 07, 2009, 01:17:48 PM
Could it be possible to have portals assigned to multiple boards, same as you can do with the "Blogging Community mode" in zCommunity?

Not having used that mod, could you explain what the "Blogging Community mode" does?

The "blogging community mode" makes it possible for enabled users to create their own blogs, meaning there could be several blogs on one forum. I looked into this at TinyPortal's forum as well, and they seemed to just have this manual solution (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,13942.0.html) for it, which I suppose might be possible to do with SimplePortal as well?

I was just hoping for a kind of click-n-go sort of option for every board, but a little bit of manual labour won't kill me :)

No news on this then? All I need to know is
a) is there a "manual" way to do this with SimplePortal already?
b) could you consider to make in-built functionality to more easily accommodate such a feature?

I have to admit I couldn't get what you mean too, would you elaborate?
