HTML Bug in Simple Portal
« on: April 03, 2010, 08:22:11 AM »
Hello.
I have an issue with simple portal on my website.
I am using SMF 2.0 RC3, and
Simple Portal 2.3.1. ==EDIT: I'm using SimplePortal 2.3.2 now.==
My forum is http://thekirbyclub.net/

The problem is that whenever I use custom HTML in the portal, it always messes up. They are like menus. I put them all in one block, and that seems to work. But when I use multiple blocks everything messes up. It might be the HTML but I'm sure that's OK, because it displays correctly without simple portal. Also, if I use a certian font or color in the introduction block all of the menus will use that font or color. If you want to test it here are the codes:

Thanks for the support! ~Kirbyfreak9000

Oh, whoops, can someone move this to the bugs section? I wasn't paying attention. -_-

I have cleaned the first one a bit:

Code: [Select]
<table style="background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: 99% 50%;" bgcolor="#CCE0FF" border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0" width="164">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td bgcolor="#0066FF" class="style2">
<div align="center" class="style2">
<font color="#FFFFFF">Interactive</font>
</div>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top" class="style2">
<font size="2" class="style1">
<a href="/forums/index.php?action=forum">Message Boards</a><br>
<a href="http://widget.mibbit.com/?settings=160cf3897f7e3313c0adc88535b185d5&server=irc.starfusion.org&channel=%23TheKirbyClub">IRC Chatroom</a>
</font>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<br />
<table style="background-repeat: no-repeat; border: 1px solid #000000; background-position: 99% 50%" bgcolor="#FFB2FF" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="164" height="125">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td bgcolor="#FF19FF" colspan="2" height="23">
<div align="center" class="style1">
<font color="#FFFFFF">Information</font>
</div>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top" width="122" height="100">
<font size="2" class="style1">
<a href="http://thekirbyclub.com/forums/index.php?page=whoiskirby">Who is Kirby?</a><br>
<a href="http://thekirbyclub.com/forums/index.php?page=about">About The Kirby Club</a><br>
<a href="http://thekirbyclub.com/forums/index.php?page=team">Meet the team!</a><br>
<a href="http://thekirbyclub.com/forums/index.php/topic,5.0.html">Rules</a><br>
</font>
<a href="http://thekirbyclub.com/forums/index.php/topic,87.0.html">
<span class="style1">Ranks</span>
</a>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>

The second one looks fine.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
