Display error if linktree is removed!
« on: November 14, 2009, 10:39:47 AM »
Hello! :)

As for previous versions of SP, I've removed the linktree from the Portal (Standalone). To do it I've added these lines in /Sources/PortalMain.php, just above function sportal_main():
Code: [Select]
   if (empty($context['linktree'][1]))
      $context['linktree'] = array();

Now I've noticed that WITHOUT the linktree there's a display error in IE 6/7!

Here's a screenshot of my portal WITH linktree (so SP unchanged):

And this is WITHOUT the linktree (so with those lines added):

...how can I fix this?

Is this solved?

If not, this really isn't a bug with SP, but rather a template coding issue, for which I could move this to Themes and Graphics.
Ms. Eliana TamerinIt should be painfully obvious by now that I don't respond to support PMs. Don't send me PMs for support. They will be ignored and deleted, post on the Support Boards to get support.

Is this solved?
No... I've simply re-added the linktree but I wish to remove it...
Anyway it's not a custom theme, it's Curve.

I've an idea!
I wish to remove the linktree in the portal but leaving it in the forum... so I could add a condition like: if I'm in the portal hide the linktree with a visibility:hidden! It won't break the layout 'cause will only hide a part, not completely remove it! :)

Can you help me to code this..?
