Dear all,

I was wondering if private chat is available with 2.3x simple portal.

currently no,  but you can set up a shoutbox that can only be seen and use by the member groups you choose.

btw its a very useful option for those who need to have a chat in private without having to be part of a usergroup so anything. in my forum i dont set user groups except for guests.

so a private message like in vb inferno shoutbox or others could just cheer things up :)

I think it has been requested before, I'm not so sure about it and also I'm not so sure if it will be included in future SP versions.
