Title: Upgrading Sp

How is updating normally done, do we have to remove the old version then install the new and re-do everthing ??? or will the new upgrade overwrite the old plus giving new settings ?

Upgrading is ultimately simple as everything in SimplePortal. You just install the new version from Package Manager again as if you are installing it for the first time. You don't have to remove anything. Package will do everything for you. Plus, it won't make any changes on your portal settings, so you won't loose anything about your portal with upgrade. ;)
