Question please, we have installed SMF 2.0 RC3 on a test forum we created to try the mods.
We are only using the default core theme.
We have tried every version of Simple Portal and none will install.
We have tried every workaround and suggestion in this topic.
We have Googled.
We have searched at Simple Portal forum.
We have had the host verify, it is nothing to do with them or the server.
We are getting Test Successful on everything, but it errors when clicking install now.
Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 2.0 RC3
Current SMF version: SMF 2.0 RC3
GD version: bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
SQLite version: 2.8.17
PHP: 5.2.10
Server version: Apache
Here are the errors we get:
If Install now is selected, this error:
The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: 0
If Install in Other Themes is selected, then this error:
SQL logic error or missing database

To add, we are using SMF 1.1.11 and SimplePortal 2.3.1 on our functioning forum. All is well there, lol.
