OK I don't know if this is a bug or not, but it bugs me as to what it is showing.
I am using SMF 2 RC3 - SimplePortal 2.3.2
Let me say that SimplePortal rocks... It's greatly spiced up my website and made it more appealing.
The problem I am having is that I have 5 images posted in a vertical block on the left side of my website. Everything displays properly, when I'm logged in... meaning the most recent photos show up. When I log out I get older photos that aren't updated, not the most recent photos.
I'm afraid that guests looking at the website won't think that content is being added.

Can guest view the boards that the "missing" attachment images are in?

I'm sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I kind of given up on the problem, thinking I couldn't solve it. I went back and deleted every board that was hidden, guests had the same access as members only that they were limited to thumbnails.
I ran into a problem were my Ad Management MOD wasn't showing up for guests. Only members were viewing the ads.
After "enabling ads" for guests... everything seemed to work properly. So, now things seem to be corrected. But thank you everyone for your time in helping solve my problems.
