Hey guys!
Today I tried to upgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 but when I pressed install I got a weird error. I didn't copy the error, sorry. And I tried a couple of different things but eventually resorted to manually parsing everything with the code on the smf site for parsing.
Now my forum is not working, throwing out this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /public_html/forum/index.php on line 392
Please help? In the mean time nobody can use my forum!

Login to your FTP server, go to ./Packages/backups/
Download file named: YYYY-MM-DD_before_package_name where:
YYYY - Year
MM - Month
DD - Day
package_name - in this case should be SimplePortal_2.3.5.zip
So if mod was installed today it will be 2012-09-12_before_SimplePortal_2.3.5.zip.
If you have this file on your hard drive, make backup of all files from your SMF.
After making full backup, unpack earlier downloaded file (2012-09-12_before_SimplePortal_2.3.5.zip), and send unpacked files to your SMF directory, overwriting existing files.
Remember to send files to correct directories.
Nevermind... Didn't noticed that you made manual changes in files. Then I guess this tips won't help you...

Actually all I had to do was find where there was a } missing. It's all working now.
Thanks for trying anyway, phantomm
