Title: What Dose SP offer others dont?

im loooking around at different portal systems.

and i would like to know why you think why SP is the best ?

Here are the main features/things that I think made SimplePortal good.
- Easy to use/setup.
- Works automatically on most custom themes (with the exception of the button edits for SMF 1.1).
- Lots of different block types.
- CMS features like pages and articles (although Articles is going to be reworked in the next major version of SP).
- An inbuilt shoutbox feature.

I've probably forgotten something, I would recommend that you make a test install of SimplePortal, or try it out on our demo site (http://demo.simpleportal.net/).

A big pro for me is that SP is very actively developed and the devs are often here on the board.

Well for me I use it because it works  :D I may not be a "power user" but it does everything I want it to and without errors or problems. That plus this support forum is good for getting more knowledge about using it.

It is aptly named SimplePortal and it's truth in advertising as far as I am concerned.
