Title: Editing shouts via the database
Post by: player.samp on March 23, 2014, 02:55:24 PM
Hello.

I am not so sure where to post it so I will do it here.

I have tried to check out if I can edit the shouts via the SQL database and I managed to do it but when I went to the forum the shouts of the chat stayed the same and nothing was changed. :/

Can anyone else check and confirm if it's a real bug or only for me?

You don't see them changed because shouts are cached. You need to refresh the cache if you are manually manipulating the shout data. The easiest way you can do that is to make a new shout and delete it.

Yeah, I see it now. It gets updated after I make a new shout. I don't even need to delete the new one. :P

Thanks.
