Please do not use obnoxious large text when asking for support, I almost left this topic without reading your message, if you want help then post your messages normally, as everyone else does.

The php files that you will need to edit are located on the webserver that hosts your website (they will be located relative where you installed SMF), you should be able to download those files using the same method that you used to upload the SMF installation package. FTP or a webhosts custom file manager, would work fine. Once you have downloaded the correct files, you can then follow the tutorial. Make sure you use a decent code editor like Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org/) (Never ever use the windows Notepad for editing code though).

Make sure that you read the General Custom Theme Tutorial (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=148.0) carefully.
