It says I have a PM, but there is none there.
It must have been deleted by a phantom ;)

What is that "label" thing, as that appeared when I got the PM.

So that is why you haven't been responding to my personal messages...
Looks like an error with the inbox label modification that I just fixed. Do you have the inbox label in Layout Preferences checked or unchecked?
-
In Look and layout preferences??
Or Personal Message Options??
I dont see the inbox label in Look and layout preferences.
But in Personal Message Options, I have these settings
[ x ]Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default.
[ x ]Show a popup when you receive new messages?
[ ]Remove the inbox label when applying another label.
Notify by email every time you receive a personal message: Always

Oh, I apologize. I meant Personal Message Options.
Strange error. I'll look into this. Could you send me a test PM?
-
Yep sure..
PM sent

Confirmed as a bug-- I can't see the message.
Please wait while we fix this bug. We apologize for the inconvenience.

No problem, glad I could be of assistance :)
EDIT: Im guessin youre in the server workin this over.
I just recieved another PM popup, but get a plain screen with this text when I go to my mail
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/spadmin/public_html/Sources/PersonalMessage.php on line 2340
Been like that for the last 5 mins.

I think it's related to the script I ran to fix a db encoding collation problem. Not sure what the best solution for this is.
-
Hmmm strange, is this the same error message in the log? :)
Bye

No, the error has to do with the labels. But I'm 90% sure that it has to do with that script, because there were no changes prior to or after that. PMs were working fine on this site up until that point.
-
Yep, it was. What happened was that it altered the labels field on pm_recipients, changing the default value from -1 to NULL. I changed that back, and it works now.
Thanks, and this is now solved.
