Before updating to 2.3.2 the image was there , now it show the whole url instead of embed with img tag
-
Use the '[cutoff]' tag after the img tag to avoid that problem.
After all the issues that occured with the old system of truncating articles, we have moved to a much more simple system, where the output will be truncated in a very simple manner (ie. it will split bbc as in your case) unless you place the '[cutoff]' tag which will allow you to choose the exact cutoff location.
-
I see, does that mean I have to do the tag if I want the image or video to show on the frontpage?
-
Don't like this feature, well, it's good, but now it ads the ... to every article, even if you article has no cut off

That means now you have the full control over the article cut-off will occur. If you want image to be displayed, then add the cutoff tag right after the image.
If you don't add cutoff tag in the post, the cutoff will occur at the maximum allowed characters.
-
how do you insert the cutoff tag ??
-
Just add this BBC tag at the point where you want cutoff to occur:
[cutoff]
Example:
Hey! I'm a post. Cut me here.[cutoff] I'm the rest of the content.
-
yeah, but wont that show the tag like how we are seeing it here ? :0
edit .... never-mind, it doesn't' show :-[
-
Nope, it's replaced by a placeholder which won't be displayed. You can see it here because I posted it between 'nobbc' tags. Quote my post, and you'll see.
