I have a video mod that makes adding videos to post very simple could you please tell me the best and simplest mod for adding pictures to posts

I suppose the simplist way would be to use the Image BBC image tag (click the tag above)

I added the pic above by clicking the button and putting the url between the tags.

I was thinking of a plugin that would allow for uploads of pictures and maybe a gallary to display them

Hm, use SMF Gallery mod, on SP there is block for it. About the posts inserting, that wont be problem - simple code modification.

Adding an image to a post - I mean rather than link to the image they simply upload the image into the post - if to big can crop or resize it.

After submitting the picture is in the post

SMF Gallery is what i meant.

About that inserting to post, hm dunno about that crop-resize function, You should ask about that in mod thread on SMF forums - here.

Personally, I like SMG, simply because it's much more like SMF Gallery Pro, but without the cost. It has the ability to upload pictures (even mass upload), videos, and even embed videos from external sites.
