SPortal2.template.php Errors
« on: November 25, 2008, 06:15:43 PM »
Normally, I can get into the coding when it gives a line number that is throwing an error.  In the case of these right here, it does not.  The log gets this entire grouping of errors at one time.  Is there a fix to this or can you tell me what is causing the errors, so I can keep it from filling up my log?

I meant to add that at the same time I'm getting these errors, I am getting what looks like additional tag along errors.  Here are the other errors.  The Portal errors are throwing first and then these.

Do you have PM Informer mod installed?

If not, can you list all your mods?
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

can you list all your mods?

Might want to do that anyway (admin > packages > installed)

Yes, I do have that one installed.

Attach your index.php, index.template.php and Load.php files here.

I know I'm slow, but which Index.php file?  I included the main Index.php file, but I know that there are many others names the same thing.

index.template.php

Find:

Code: [Select]
if(!empty($context['user']['unread_messages'])) {
Replace:

Code: [Select]
if(!empty($context['pm_informer'])) {
Additionally, this is related to PM Informer mod. Not SimplePortal.

great!  Will do that Blue Dream.  Thanks much.

I had posted some issues with that mod in that thread, but I think it was just being taken over by someone new.

THANK YOU MUCH!

Yeah, Nascar took the mod over, so it no longer belongs to me.

Don't forget to inform us about the result.

Sorry to get back to you so late.  I have been in & out of the hospital over the past few months and completely forgot that I had this one posted here on this forum.  Everything worked out fine with the change.

Thanks!
