Topic: Aeva Media block error

Hi, I'm using SMF 2.0 RC4, SimplePortal 2.3.3 and Aeva Media 1.4b.

I have made a copy of my database and copied my files to another folder. I ran the repair_settings.php file and with a couple of manual changes I have created a complete copy of my messageboard at a new address.

Everything works that I have tried. The only thing that doesn't is the gallery block showing the Latest items. It shows the text information correctly, but instead of the thumbnail it shows as the attached file. Interestingly, if I increase the number of items shown it is only the first 20 that show this message.

Images that are in an album named Articles are both shown and not shown. The gallery's home page shows the latest files' previews no problem. I have used the Aeva admin to recreate thumbs and preview images. I have tried creating a new block. It is the same for admin and non-admin members. I can use the SMG BBC tag to show a thumbnail and that works perfectly. I looked at the PortalBlocks.php file but I'm afraid php is beyond my ability. I have gone through the folders and the database looking for something but I'm stuck.

There was nobody on the board as I worked and the latest picture was uploaded some hours previously.

How is that block generated and would the way it works generate any clues?

Found it  In Settings.php the cache directory hadn't been updated, so although I had emptied the cache it presumably had emptied the wrong one(?)

Anyway, updated the file, cleared the cache and an F5 later it's all fixed.
