Title: Pandora Widget
Post by: rathsrants on October 07, 2011, 06:26:39 AM
SMF Version: 2.0.1
SimplePortal Version: 2.3.3
Website Address: http://ddcgaming.com/site/index.php

Been trying to add a Pandora Widget via the Custom HTML Block. It does not appear to be working. It shows the block but no content inside it.

This is the code provided from Pandora @ http://www.pandora.com/feeds#blog
Code: [Select]
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://feeds.pandora.com/styles/feeds/stations-buttons-blue.css" />
<script src="http://feeds.pandora.com/feeds/people/rathsrants/stations.js?max=5&noform"></script>

I moved the widget to the top left hand column to make it easier to find. Other widgets seem to work just fine using the Custom HTML Block.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks Rath

Try a php or bbc block.

Looks like to me, this is why it's blank...

"NetworkError: 403 Listener+has+privacy+setting+enabled - http://feeds.pandora.com/feeds/people/rathsrants/stations.js?max=5&noform"

rathsrants -- I have not tested this myself, and I cannot see it on your website, but slop_chute's observation sounds useful.
Most users won't have permission to get your pandora feed.
