Title: Blocks To Show Selected Topics
Post by: stanyy on September 30, 2013, 02:39:02 PM
This block should show only the topics I select.

An idea for implementing it is to make it manual i.e show 2 input boxes each where I type the post link and title.
Either that or any other way you think is best.

I picture the block to look something like this:
Link 1
Link 2
Link 3
Pages: [1][2]

PS: The reason I don't use SmfLinks mod is because it only works inside its own menu and not in the forum, portal or a block.

Why not just do a Custom BBC block and use the url bbc for making the links?
That way, you can customize the way it looks your way.

Yes I've tried doing it with a php block because I needed to use a div styling to separate the links and it was a bit of a pain having to do it everytime.

Also, (for the bbc block), would it be possible for other people to add links without letting them into the admin section? (Or to edit that one block without having the permission to edit other blocks?)

No. That is not possible, to the best of my knowledge.
