Buddy List Block 'Ultimate Profile'
« on: March 17, 2012, 11:54:57 AM »
Below is PHP Block for Buddy List.

This block is working fine but I just need little help that how to change the avatar size.

Code: [Select]
<?php
global $txt$context$modSettings;
if (isset(
$modSettings['enable_buddylist']) && $modSettings['enable_buddylist'] == '1') {
echo
'
<a href="'
$scripturl ,'?action=profile;area=buddies;u='$context['member']['id'], '">'$txt['profile_buddies'] ,'</a>
</h3>
<span class="topslice"><span></span></span>
<div class="content">
<table width="100%">'
;
if (isset($context['member']['buddies_data'])) {
$i 1;
foreach ($context['member']['buddies_data'] as $buddy_id => $data) {
if ($i == 1)
echo '
<tr>'
;
echo '
<td align="left">
'
$data['avatar_image'],'<br />
<a href="'
$scripturl '?action=profile;u='$data['id_member'] , '">' $data['real_name'] , '</a><br />
<em>'
$settings['use_image_buttons'] ? '<img src="' $settings['images_url'] . '/buddy_' . ($data['is_online'] ? 'useron' 'useroff') . '.gif' '" alt="' $txt[$data['is_online'] ? 'online' 'offline'] . '" align="middle" />' $txt[$data['is_online'] ? 'online' 'offline'], $settings['use_image_buttons'] ? '<span class="smalltext"> ' $txt[$data['is_online'] ? 'online' 'offline'] . '</span>' '''</em>
</td>'
;
if ($i ==1)
echo '
</tr>'
;
$i++;
if ($i == 2$i 1;
}
} else
echo ' <tr><td>'$txt['profile_buddies_no'] ,'</td></tr>';
echo '
</table>
</div>'
;
}

?>

Well, I can't really know what that array might hold, but this should probably work, although not the best method:

Code: (Find) [Select]
$data['avatar_image']
Code: (Replace) [Select]
str_replace('<img', '<img width="50"', $data['avatar_image'])
Change 50 as the desired width of avatars. You can modify the second parameter for str_replace() to add more attributes to the img tag displaying the avatar.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

SINAN thank you so much for prompt help, its working. :)

Just one more thing wanted to ask that buddy block works fine

on Ultimate Profile page but doesn't work on portal page.

At portal only block shows but no buddies list (avatar).

There is probably a code in the mod source file (something like UltimateProfile.php in Sources directory) or Profile.php that loads the data into $context['member']['buddies_data'] variable. You need to find which function is called and add that call right before the code you have quoted up above.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

I add these code but still buddies list doesn't show on portal.

global $context, $settings, $options, $scripturl, $modSettings, $txt;
global $smcFunc, $buddy_list, $user_profile, $memberContext, $sourcedir;

I found these two files in source directory

Source/Profile.php
Code: [Select]
function is_buddy($memID, $buddyID)
{
global $smcFunc, $buddy_list, $modSettings;

// When buddy list if off, everybody is your friend ;)
if (!isset($modSettings['enable_buddylist']) || $modSettings['enable_buddylist'] == '0')
return true;

if (!is_array($buddy_list)) {
$request = $smcFunc['db_query']('', '
SELECT buddy_list
FROM {db_prefix}members
WHERE id_member = {int:id_member}',
array(
'id_member' => $memID,
)
);
list($buddy_list) = $smcFunc['db_fetch_row']($request);

$buddy_list = explode(',', $buddy_list);
}

if (in_array($buddyID, $buddy_list))
return true;
else
return false;
}

Source/Buddies.php
Code: [Select]
function BuddiesShow()
{
global $smcFunc, $context, $user_profile, $memberContext, $txt;

// approved buddies
$buddies = array();
$request = $smcFunc['db_query']('', '
SELECT buddy_id
FROM {db_prefix}buddies
WHERE id_member = {int:id_member}
AND approved = 1
ORDER BY position ASC, time_updated DESC',
array(
'id_member' => $context['user']['id'],
)
);

while ($row = $smcFunc['db_fetch_assoc']($request))
$buddies[] = $row['buddy_id'];
$smcFunc['db_free_result']($request);

// Load all the members up.
loadMemberData($buddies, false, 'profile');

$context['buddies'] = array();
foreach ($buddies as $buddy) {
loadMemberContext($buddy);
$context['buddies'][$buddy] = $memberContext[$buddy];
}

Any idea what should I do next?
