  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

There are only 2 download mods that are compatible with 2.0 RC1

That been vbgamer45's and blocs on tiny portal

Will simple portal be getting a Download management addition?

this would be a good addition to an already great portal :)

That is not yet a planned feature for SimplePortal, however, you may request it over in Feature Requests.

This is for me the most important option to have for a portal (with external link support)
I never understood, beyond reasons given by bloc, why tinyportal hasn't coded a complete option for this. They's one, but really incomplete, for my part.
Vbgamer45 has done a more complete job (same if it's not perfect) for this.
It's true it could be cool to have this in SP....

It might take a while for anything like this to be added as a part of SimplePortal.

It would be very nice to have this sort of thing as a mod for SimplePortal though.

If you are interested in this sort of feature, then can you answer the question. What exactly do you want in a complete downloads mod?

Like standards downloads php scripts:

- Download with upload submissions, with external links
- sorted in categories
- informations about files, counters etc...

all in security, of course.
