  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Blocks Advanced Options Missing

I searched on how to get my blocks on every page including forums and I found tutorials that said to go to modify block and there will be 'Display Options' however mine is missing and when I tried to use 'Configuration' then 'Block Settings' I have it set to display in forum but they do not appear. I am running simplemachines 1.1.16 and simpleportal 2.3.5, any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Just make sure this box is checked...

If you set in configuration that blocks do not display in the forum area then advanced settings do not display - as they are not needed.

In Simple Portal Admin menu > Configuration > Block Settings

Information | General Settings | * Block Settings | Article Settings


You will see one setting for Display Blocks in Forum

If you set this OFF the advanced options do not display in the block edit.

I cant think of another reason  ...
