Title: Next Events Block regardless of user group

I need a special Block showing event titles regardless of usergroups..

at the standardblock users can only see events that are listed for their group.
as we restrict the whole board for registered members, we have a problem to show calender events for guests.
(calender events and a special info block are the only things we want guests to see)

just allowing guests to view calender is not enough. they see an empty calender.
the events itself are not shown.. maybe because of the user-restriction of the corresponding forum threads for each event?

we want guests to see only the topic of events.. and when they click on it, they should be redirected to register page..

is coding of such a block a complex thing?

ok.. i tried to add an event to the calendar without linking it to a thread... now guests can see this particular event..
but not when its linked to a thread (remember.. reading threads is only allowed for registered members)

does this mean, its a SMF thingy, not a simple portal thing?
