  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

installing 2.2.2

I want to install simple portal on my smf 1.1.10 site but i ran into this error

1.     Execute Modification     ./index.php     Test failed

How do i fix it ?

You can continue with the installation, but then manually apply the necessary edits to that file.

If you have no idea how to manually edit PHP files, then post that file and I can do it.

I am not sure that I totally understood your last post.

The file is located in the directory where you choose to install SMF, you will have to either use FTP or maybe your hosts 'file manager' to download the file, and then upload it as an attachment for your next post.

Nope, afraid not. I need the "index.php" file, the one from your main SMF directory (probably your server root www/public_html file directory).

Try replacing your old file, with the file attached. Although you will want to install SimplePortal first (otherwise you will get errors).

The issue was being caused by a search/replace bug in a 'Twitter' related mod, you may want to report that to the mod author. ;)

yeah it seemed to work,now i just have to update to the latest one :D
