Title: Block for chat
Post by: Old Fossil on April 18, 2009, 04:19:29 PM
Is there a block which can be used to direct users to the chat room?

we don't use the integrated chats.

What exactly do you mean by 'direct'? Could you just use a HTML or BBC block with a link to your chat page?

I don't know how to use the bbc blocks and didn't think of the html one.

Thanks for the suggestion.

The BBC block, is exacly like making a post. You can use Bulletin Board Codes (BBC) in a post or BBC block. There is an explanation of BBC in the SMF documentation. (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?board=22.0)

A BBC block with a link might appear like this:
Title

Not exactly sure what you mean by 'keep a copy', but that post and the SMF documentation is there for you to use. :)
