Title: Database version error
Post by: smallstreams.co.za on October 29, 2008, 04:12:50 AM
Hi guys

1st Post here, so hope I'll get some help  ;D

Just installed SimplePortalClassic2.0.5.tar.gz, but when enabling the Portal, the SMF site gives the following error ...

Unknown column 'force_view' in 'field list'
File: /home/smallstr/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-SPortal1-1.php
Line: 43

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.6, while your database is at version 1.1.2. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

It also gives that error when I try to use any of the SimplePortal options in the Admin Control Panel.

I'm running SMF 1.1.6. How do I upgrade the database???

Moved to Bogus Bugs and marked as solved. Please ask any support questions in the other topic. :)
