Title: ADMIN / SIMPLE PORTAL MENU NOT SHOWING

I have a fresh install of SMF 2.0 RC1-1 and the install of Simple Portal 2.2.1 went fine. It shows as installed. But when I go to the Admin section I do not see the Simple Portal menu like I should.

It is as if it is installed but not working at all. I see no blocks or any sign of it at all. The home page and everything is just as it was prior to installing simple portal.

I have downloaded the package direct from here, through the SMF site and tried installing and reinstalling a number of times. So far same symptoms.

It says it is installed but I see no working sign of it anywhere.

I think you need to clear the File Cache. You can do that in the maintaince part of SMF.

That worked!

I simply had to clear the cache and after that I went to the Package Manager and it no longer showed simple portal as installed. So I just clicked on 'Apply Mod' and walked through the install and now it is fine.
