Adding new body class to style options
« on: October 06, 2012, 04:27:15 AM »
I had an idea and thought I would try it for the heck of it. I added a new body class in portaladminblocks.template.php like this

Code: [Select]
'body' => array('windowbg',  'windowbg2', 'windowbg3', 'information', 'roundframe','photoframe'),
And it worked, but it threw an error in the admin logs that read:"

Code: [Select]
8: Use of undefined constant photoframe - assumed 'photoframe'

 File: Themes/default/PortalAdminBlocks.template.php
 Line: 420

I went back to me edit and noticed that I didn't surround the photoframe like this 'photoframe' so, Now I am just waiting to see if I get an error from that. However even if I don't, was this the proper way to do this, do you see any consequences from my doing so?

It does work but I can't be sure it won't cause me problems somewhere else. I did search high and low for someone trying the same thing but found nothing.

I've backed up everything in case it is a problem but would like to know if this was proper?

By the way the photoframe is just a name I came up with that means I have a background assigned to the class photoframe. It works good but seems somehow just too easy.. LOL

Hmm, wondering if I put this in the wrong place. Bumping in case it got buried. We can bump as long as it's a few days later, no? Don't want to step on any toes, but am still curious about this?

I say that if it's working fine, and not causing any problems then it's all good :)

Hi Phantomm,

I it does work, but I don't know if it's causing problems or not, still have a few unaccounted for errors in error log that I can't explain, so I don't know if one would be related to this or not. The first error below, I noticed right after, but then I realized I didn't put  ' ' on either side of the new style name, that did sound related some how, but not being an expert I wouldn't know.

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in public_html/Sources/PortalAdminBlocks.php on line 301
