Why upgrade to RC5, because you have final 2.0. If you have problem with simple portal try install SP manually over smf parser or just check every modified files, where is the problem and what missing.

Do you have an error when you install Simple portal in package manager?
Check your permissions in your file manager on CP.
Try manually copy simple portal files on destination folders.
Attach here any error log from your cpanel.

Thank you for your reply.

Sounds a little curios, but i have no logged error, the package manager was telling me all is fine after the installation, but NO FILE WAS COPYING OR CHANGING!!!

So i install this offline via XAMPP and load all the files with my FTP-manager. Thats do the trick.

The settings was OK, all was 777.

i dont know why, but this is solved.

I'm so glad you were able to resolve this. CHOWN and CHMOD problems can be tricky to figure out, and am am guessing that one of these was responsible for your problems.
