Hello,
When I try to install it using the package manager, everything passes the test...except

5. Execute Modification ./Sources/ManagePermissions.php Test failed

im running 1.1.5 at http://www.cricketvoice.com/

Any ideas?

Hello,

I am having the same problem installing Simple Portal 2.2 onto SMF 1.8.

here are my mods:

.     SMFChess      1.0       [ Uninstall ]  [ List Files ]  [ Delete ]
2.    Auto Embed Video/Audio Clips    3.1.2    [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
3.    Signature Settings Mod    1.1    [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
4.    SimplePortal    2.2    [ Apply Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
5.    SMF 1.0.15 / 1.1.7 Update    1.0    [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
6.    Pages Managment    1.1    [ Apply Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
7.    SMF 1.0.14 / 1.1.6 Update    1.0    [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
8.    Ignore user    1.4    [ Uninstall ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
9.    SMF 1.0.16 / 1.1.8 Update    1.0

What do I need to add to the managepermissions.php?

Split this topic from the other topic. Keeping support request separate makes it easier to help. ;)

Here is the edit, its likely that it isn't working because a mod has added permissions without regard for other mods that might need to add permissions as well, in short the other mod has a bug.

Find this code:
Code: [Select]
'pm' => array(
Replace with this code:
Code: [Select]
'sp' => array(
'sp_moderate' => false,
'sp_add_article' => false,
'sp_auto_article_approval' => false,
),
'pm' => array(

Its most likely that the SMFShop mods bad coding methods is causing the issue. Try this edit if the one above failed because of whitespace:

Find this code:
Code: [Select]
'pm' => array(
Replace with this code:
Code: [Select]
'sp' => array(
'sp_moderate' => false,
'sp_add_article' => false,
'sp_auto_article_approval' => false,
),
'pm' => array(

If you upload that file as an attachment then I can make the changes for you.

Thank you!

I got problem fixed after I read the instructions for a manual install.

The first bit of code worked. The Chess mod was the culprit.
