Got the following error when trying to install SimplePortal 2.0.4.
Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.

Can anyone assist with this. I know sometimes you can just get away with hitting install after an error message but I've never tried that in case it stuffs up the forum bigtime.
Cheers in advance

No big deal, just post your index.template.php file here. Attach it.

Can I just say thanks for an insanely fast response 8)
File attached

You may wish to reformat/reorder your buttons later on, but here is your 'index.template.php' file with the mod installed on it. You can install the mod ignoring the errors for that file and then replace your current 'index.template.php' file with the one attached.

Thanks for this, works a treat but unfortunately doesn't do what I hoped it did. Probably my reading the info about the mod the wrong way I think.
Thanks for you help in getting it working though.
