I have installed, SMF 2.0 RC1-1, Smipleportal 2.2.1 and Blackrain theme. The icons in Simpleportal dropdown menu are the dreaded "X"
The icons only show in the core theme but not for the others.
Does anyone have a fix for this?
Thanks,

Are all the images that SP add located in your theme's image folder?
-
Funny thing is I don't even see them in the default image folder but the show up in that theme.
Should they be in the "image" folder or one of the sub "image" folders?
-
The admin images should be under {your_theme}/images/admin/ and the other sp images should be under {your_theme}/images/sp/
-
Ok I found the default/images/admin/ icons and they are all there. Installation of SP did not create blackrain/images/sp folder.
Should I creat one and copy all the admin icons in there?
Thanks,
-
No Copy The İcons Into your default images folder to show icons in all your themes ;)
-
they are already in default/images/admin/
so are you saying copy them all from default/images/admin to default/images ?
-
Look in your site right click to the X icons and see the where the images must be in ok? and then copy the images into it :)
-
You only need to copy images in images/admin directory. There is an option like "Install the mod for other themes" while installing the mod. If you had checked that, it would have copied for you.
You don't need to copy images/sp directory as there is a fallback to default theme for them.
Marking as solved as this is not a bug.

K I'm new to all this so need to follow a road map LOL
You're saying copy the icons found in default/images/admin/ to blackrain/images/admin/ ?

Ok my problem is different. When I click inside Blocks inside the admin, it shows X instead of the icons. I did right click on the icon to see where the images are suppose to be and they are all pointing to the root of the site Example: http://site.com/up.png instead of inside the theme/sp. The folders are there and all the images are there, but for some reason the installation even that created the folders in the correct place, but it pointed the images to the root directory instead of the folder that contain the images.
I think if theres a way to change the path of all of the at the same time, will be easy. I uninstalled cleaned and reinstall it and id did the same thing.
I did install the mod in my testing site, and it installed right and it worked fine. So i dont understand why in my life site it point the images o the root folder. Any help please.

OK this is what I did I completly uninstalled again, and I deleted the databases from the SQL, but still not working. This is the error log Im getting

File: /home/xecoflc/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-SPortal1-1.php

Do you have portal disabled?
-
Enable or disaled, is still doesnt work. Because is looking for the arrows and images in the http://website.com/___ instead of pointing to the sp/___ folder.
In other words if I copy all the images from inside the sp folder into the root folder of my site, they will work. But I want to keep everything the right way.
Thanks!
-
That will only happen if you have portal disabled. Are you it is the same when you enable the portal?
-
copy the icons found in default/images/admin/ to yourtheme/images/admin/
Mannyz, do it like I said here. It worked fine for me.
-

I'm just as noob as you maybe more so but it's kinda like making a cake. You ask for ingredients, throw them into a bowl, shove your hands in and mix it up till it comes out right LMAO.
You're welcome 8)
