Title: 2.3.5. Install function sp_template_inline_permissions
Post by: Morph on January 03, 2013, 10:50:37 AM
Hello here,
it was my fault, i installed new version without uninstall old version 2.3.3.
I use simpleportal for several years and i install it always by removing the old version, but this time, i hurry and i forget to do it :(
Anyway, i fix it, i manually modify all the system files and now i can use the forum and do quite all without errors ( check up the errors log too) but when i try to add a new block or modify an existent, i have this error:

Code: [Select]
:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function sp_template_inline_permissions() in
/........../Sources/Load.php(1995) : eval()'d
on line 141

I have difficulties to fix it, can anyone help me please?

Thank you in advance

this seems like a strange situation.
eval'd code happens in php blocks and php pages.

So you can try dsabling all php blocks to see if the problem goes away.

One way to eliminate all old code from your files is

1) uninstall the current version of simple portal

2) install the old version, the one you tried to remove manually. ignore errors
3) uninstall the old version you just installed. ignore errors.

That ought to eliminate almost any code you missed by hand before.
4) reinstall simpleportal.

If this does not fix the problem, search all files for sp_template_inline_permissions to find out if it is called from any Simple Portal code.

If you do not find it, you may need to check your php blocks and pages.

Disable all php blocks.  If the problem goes away, turn them back on one at a time until you find which one causes the problem.

Good Luck!
