Title: Shout Box Idea
Post by: Neith on June 24, 2010, 08:21:52 PM

Here is my question and I am hoping it's something simple that I can implement.

When a Guest enters my forum, they can not view the Shoutbox. I love it!

It actually has a message that says; "Sorry this shoutbox does not exist."

What I would like to do is place a picture there instead. Something that I make up in PS.

Is this possible to replace the message "Sorry this shoutbox does not exist." with an actual picture that is cool looking instead of this ugly thing?

If so, where can I change this? I tried glancing at the Parse information to see if I could find that and I couldnt. Its probably something very easy and right in front of my face too :D

Thank you and sorry if this has already been mentioned.

Its more than likely in one of the language files, you can change it easily

find the string in the SP language files

$txt['shoutbox_no_exist'] = 'Sorry this shoutbox does not exist.';

I have guessed the shoutbox no exist part, but it will look something like that, then you can add the HTML code for an image to replace "Sorry this shoutbox does not exist."
