Title: HTML Blocks gives SP Copyright Notice at Bottom of Block?
Post by: David on June 30, 2011, 08:09:50 PM
Forum: SMF 2.0 Gold
SimplePortal: 2.3.3
Browsers: Explorer, Chrome, Safari... (all?)

Problem:
Okayyy...I realize I've been gone for a while, so if this already has been reported and I missed it...many extreme apologies, I'm just tryin to help.

I decided to toss up SMF 2.0 Gold on a test site on my server (Abyss II, Latest PHP, Latest SQL, everything up to date).

It looks GREAT EXCEPT for:

Every HTML Block that I toss up thru SP has the SimplePortal copyright at the bottom of the block, INSIDE THE BLOCK.  I assure you, it is not in the HTML code that I am inserting into the block.

I'm all for giving Simple Portal credit, and, Lord knows I would never remove anyone's copyright....but...it's in every HTML block.  It does not occur in a BBC block or a PHP block or any other kind of block...just the HTML blocks.

If you need an example...here's the link to the test site:

How can I solve this?  I wouldn't even quite know where to begin.  I need my HTML blocks.   Not extremely worried for the immediate future because all my sites that matter are still on RC5.  But I have to admit...I am stumped.
