My portal doesnt have a forum tab and ive tried the one tutorial by nathaniel and it just messed up my theme, Also i would like to change the logo in the top of my theme anyone know how to do that? ... Anyone help..

And lastly for some reason i installed simple portal and the article is on the top and i cant delete it it says

How do i get rid of it?

The "Welcome to SimplePortal" article is in your blocks list I believe. Check the admin area and delete this block in the top position.

For getting rid of that welcome block, you can do as kai920 said. Simply delete it from the blocks admin area.

For your forum tab issue, please do as that tutorial said, post a separate topic (with your 'index.template.php' file) in the Themes and Graphics board.

If you are referring to the "Forum" button, then please read that post carefully...

Please note, that this tutorial may not work for your custom theme, if that is the case and you can't find out where to make the edits yourself, then you can ask in the Themes and Graphics Board.

Do not ask for support in this topic! Please make a new topic in the Themes and Graphics Board.

But half the stuff i cant even find in it and is there any themes that come with the forum tab?

There aren't many themes that automatically come with the Forum tab, allthough its easy to add.

If you don't have the skills required, or aren't sure about adding it yourself, then make a topic in that board, attach your index.template.php file and someone can help.

It also helps if you set your profile fields for your SMF and SP version. That way we know which versions to address.

I will add my index.template but how do i extract it from my forum

The file is located in your SMF installs directory at '/Themes/{custom theme name}/index.template.php'.

You can use either a file manager (usually provided by your host) or FTP, to download that file from your forum.
